Whether you're brand new to Togetherall or already familiar with the community, this session is an opportunity to see the platform firsthand and ask questions of the Togetherall account management team.
A walk through of the full range of support options available to students, including:

The variety of peer support forums students can explore
New ways members can express themselves through art
A robust library of self-help articles and courses
The latest platform features designed to boost engagement and reinforce safe, supportive practices

You'll also get an inside look at how Togetherall's peer-to-peer model is helping students across the Universities of Wisconsin fight isolation, build resilience, and take an active role in their own mental well-being.

Rainfall inputs shape the results of hydrologic models and the infrastructure decisions based on them. Engineers have many options for representing storms, from standard temporal distributions to methods based on a catalog of rainfall events. Each approach involves choices about storm timing, duration, location, and regional relevance. This presentation explores how some of these choices influence runoff estimates, flood risk, and design outcomes. It connects established design-storm practices with emerging approaches for using a catalog of plausible storms and regional climate information. The discussion will help engineers recognize key rainfall assumptions, understand their implications, and select methods that fit the study purpose and level of risk.

Each October, University of Wisconsin-Platteville hosts the High School Choral Festival. Hundreds of high school choristers from the Tri-State area convene for a day of rehearsal and performance with each of UW-Platteville's single-gender choirs, Coro D'Angeli, and Singing Pioneers. Emphasis is placed on fostering camaraderie as well as a lifelong love of the choral arts. Concurrent with rehearsals and break-out activities for students, sponsoring teachers also benefit from continuing education interest sessions and workshops. The festival culminates with a performance in the evening, wherein each combined gender choir of high schoolers and college students is showcased alongside the three UW-Platteville mixed choirs.

In October 1998 in the middle of the prairie outside Laramie, Wyoming, Matthew Shepard, a 21 year old student at the University of Wyoming, was tied to a fence post, severely beaten, tortured and left, alone, to die. His body - battered, bloody, barely clinging to life - was discovered eighteen hours later. He was rushed to the hospital and put on life support. He died five days later. The reason for this brutal crime? Matthew Shepard was gay.

The hate crime attracted vast attention worldwide, bringing sexual discrimination and violence to the forefront of public discourse. The Tectonic Theater Project, led by their founder Moisés Kaufman, traveled to Laramie in the aftermath of the murder with the intent of creating a theatrical portrait of a town coming to grips with horrible, hate-fueled violence. Over the course of a year and a half, the group interviewed over 200 subjects, some directly related to the case and some regular citizens of Laramie. Out of these interviews, journal entries, and found texts, The Laramie Project was born. Hailed as one of the most captivating and encompassing pieces of contemporary theatre, the play shocks, challenges, and moves all who watch it as it reveals the lowest depths of hatred and greatest heights of compassion that lies within all human beings in any seemingly average community.Recommended for mature audiences.Wednesday Benefit Night: $5 general admission. Thursday-Sunday: $15 for adults, $5 for UWP students and youth under 18

Midwest Choral Artists, based in Madison, WI, is a hand selected ensemble comprised of music educators, professional musicians, and skilled amateurs. Its members travel from all around central Wisconsin to rehearse, some as far as Platteville and Fond du Lac.
Midwest Choral Artists was formed around the love of two things: choral music and the bond that is created through that music. The members of this group were hand-picked by the directors not only for their outstanding musicianship, but because they share a mindset that choral music is a personal pillar, holding strong through the ebbs and flows of life. Goodwill offerings accepted at the event.

Women in STEM Career Day is a one-day event for high school students to explore careers that involve creative problem-solving, forward thinking, making a difference in society, and shaping the future of our world. Participants will learn about career opportunities in STEM fields through exciting demonstrations and will enjoy working in teams on hands-on projects. They will also have the chance to connect with other young students who share their interests and interact with college students, faculty, and industry professionals from STEM disciplines. By the end of the day, participants will have discovered potential career paths they may wish to pursue within STEM fields. Women in STEM Career Day is open to students in grades 9–12. Chaperoned individuals, school groups, and homeschool groups are all welcome. The deadline is Oct. 12, although the program almost always fills up before the deadline. Check-in will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 8:45 a.m.

High school drama teacher Logan is desperate to save her career. Always ready to rock the boat, she is now facing a petition that calls for her termination. So she pursued several grants ranging from education to cultural awareness to bring together three actors that will devise a play about the first Thanksgiving. Or Native American Heritage Month. Or just November in general. With yoga instructor (and boyfriend) Jaxton, elementary teacher Caden, and professional actress Alicia, Logan is out to save her career and tell a culturally conscious story about what it means to be Native American … even though all of the performers are white. Punctuated by offensive (and completely real) Thanksgiving songs from educators' social media, Larissa FastHorse’s The Thanksgiving Play is a hilarious satiric jab at political correctness, social wokeness, and cultural assumptions.
Wednesday Benefit Night: $5 general admission. Thursday-Sunday: $15 for adults, $5 for UWP students and youth under 18

Pioneering Your Future in STEM is a one-day event designed for fifth- through eighth-grade students sponsored by the Women in STEM Program. The event focuses on inspiring students to explore careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Participants will learn about careers that emphasize creative problem-solving, forward-thinking, societal impact, and shaping the future of our world. These fields—especially engineering, computer science, and the physical sciences—are driving progress and shaping the future. While these areas have seen growth, they continue to face challenges in attracting a wide range of talent. This event offers hands-on, interactive sessions designed to spark curiosity and build confidence in those exploring these dynamic fields. Participants will strengthen their critical thinking, engage in experimentation, learn the design process, and work to solve real-world challenges in a collaborative, supportive environment. Participants will explore the wide-ranging possibilities within STEM fields and see how these careers contribute to shaping a better future. With more diverse voices needed to drive innovation, Pioneering Your Future in STEM is a meaningful first step toward empowering the next generation of STEM leaders. Chaperoned individuals, school groups, and home school groups are all welcome.
