The Dashboard was created by the Web Development Office at UW-Platteville as an interface for applications used by departments on campus. The Dashboard provides an increased levelof security for higher risk content that might be entered by an account holder.
Once your logged in you’ll see your name in the upper right hand part of the screen where “Login” used to be. Click your name to access your profile or logout.
Toward the bottom of your account profile you will see permission information. This will display all of the applications you have access to view.
If you feel that you need more permission or don’t have the correct permission, contact email@example.com telling us what changes you need.
An application is defined as, a process that uses web technology out side the scope of web CMS and is customized to a departments need. This does not include basic webforms and 3 rd party applications.
Each account holder is given permissions to view specific applications. Applications will NOT be accessible to those who don’t have permissions.
Application links will appear at the top of the screen in the blue navbar with a specific project title or name.
Application management will not be covered in this getting started guide. If you need help with your specific application contact firstname.lastname@example.org and someone from Web Development will assist you.
The Dashboard and all applications included are actively maintained by Web Development.
If you have any questions or concerns about the Dashboard or it’s contents please submit a Web Request Form.
